Yea, use my rule of thumb when picking a car you plan on racing with.
Make sure it comes with either a turbo/supercharger from the factory or a v8. Make sure it come with an AWD,FRWD or MRWD drivetrain Make sure it is light.
I am not sure of the curbweight of your vehicle, but I do know that it is a FWD NA car, that doesnt have a v8, therefore there is virtually no tuneability in your car. It would be very hard to make it fast.

there isnt much of an aftermarket backround for any daewoo, best advice is to not do anything to it and just keep it as a daily driver

This is the truest statment EVER!!!
DO NOT GET: 350z G35 AE-86 (seriously don't, unless you want a drivers car) 240sx (stock) 325i Impreza 2.5rs S2000 or ANYTHING honda Anything Acura Lancer
Do Get: Wrx sti eclipse gsx
-Please go die in a hole. Granted tuning a daewoo is like training a retard to win the special olympics, but giving him your gay rule of thumb is just that...gay. Even if you meant by as long as it has one of those requrements, you still told him NOT to get almost any honda or acura...but i last time i checked building up those cars is relatively easy, just look at the aftermarket field.

Your talking to a person with a motor that has won 8 JGTC's, 4 WRC's, in a chassis that has won 2 JGTC's, and entered in a few Le Manns. I dont know if the civic can say the same. Does the civic have a factory 2425lb, 500hp widebody version of it, in celebration of winning JGTC? My car does.
 ^THat car is Bone stock
Thinking that I am wrong because a car has a large aftermarket, only shows that you couldnt argue your way out of a wet paper bag. Go argue with a tree if you are somehow fooled into thinking that those FWD NA's are fast in the straightline, any other form of racing involving turns, they are prone to understeer. Generally speaking, FWD cars are only fast after you upgrade and replace every part on them. It should be no surprise that a car as common as a civic or integra, has a large aftermarket.
I did not eliminate all Honda's and Acura's, all of the cars you listed can have turbos added to them, but because they are naturally aspirated, they cant make nearly as much power on stock internals that a stock turbo car can. Which leaves the NSX and S2000, although both those cars would be easier to tune if it came turbo from the factory.
Personally, I dont like the idea of having to swap out and rebuild my motor for forced induction, and transmission with LSD, just for it to even begin to be fast, which means you have to have a 2nd car to get you around while you do all this work to your FWD Honda. Not to mention, even with a built engine and a tranny with an LSD, you are still fighting the laws of physics to get that power to the ground. Your up against all odds, versus a car that were say MRwd or AWD, when you accelerate, the weight shifts onto the tires giving more traction. Or a car with a turbo or v8, where power can be easily increased. Torque is often lacking in cars with vtec. Lots of faults in your argument

first off where did the guy say he wanted to race it! he just asked of tunaabilty!
on this board people ask about there car! they dont mention racing. just to play with the car they have!!!
and everyone jumps on the awd/rwd/ turbo v8 things.
they people never say they want to race and what not. Some people dont get cars cause they want to race. They like the car they have. some people just want to make the car they have a little faster. or look a little diffretn or just handle better than stock. some of these people are doign it ot daily drivers. SO a little economy is there. But not every oen is trying to build a race car!!!!!

You know what, you're right...I totally came off the wrong side there...Honda doesn't have three F1 Gran Prix wins, CRX's don't win Solo 2 Nationals, Integras don't win SCCA worlds challenge.
-I wasn't trying to get on the Honda/Acura bandwagon, but those were the only cars I could think of at the time. But just going by what you said (correct me if I'm wrong) you select cars that are combination of your three guidlines...but what about hpa motorsports R32?
-I wasn't aruging that just because a car has an extremely large aftermarket makes it a car to get, I know what understeer is. I'm just merely pointing out the fact that you rag on just about any car that isn't rwd/awd factory turboed and light. But really I don't know why i'm bothering to argue with you now, because from your last post you sound like a typical corvette/viper owner...which is "Hey! my car is super fast stock, so any other car that doesn't even remotely compare is pure CRAP!" Sorry if i'm wrong, but that's what you strike me as.

when it comes to making a car go fast.. heres a statement that holds true no matter what you drive. "speed is money, how fast can you afford to go" you can probably do just about anything you can imagine with that daewoo or any car for that matter it just depends on having a good plan and the money to back it up.. in the case of your daewoo i would save your money and buy something else down the line it will probably be cheaper

"speed is money how fast do you want to go" if youve got an idea you can probably do it as long as you have the finances to back it up.. but in your case i would save your money untill you could buy something that is a little more potent from the factory... and to the other guy my M3 has an inline 6 and im sure could smoke most of the v8 cars on the street now and definatly holds its own on the track
