I was wondering a good possible engine swap for the Toyota x-runner. I want to do something crazy and different.
Want to put out about 350-450+ hp. Thats the goal. While i could prolly just modify the stock engine... its not what im wanting to do.

I am not familiar with the Xrunner's engine, I know there are some toyota v6's that people get 600whp or so out of, but I mainly stick to there 4cyl tuning.

I think there called like, 1mzfe, 3mzfe stuff like that, are what the powerful v6 mr2's owners use.

just keep the 4 liter v6 and boost it.  there are 4.0 tacomas making tons of power with superchargers.  check out what TRD can do - http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/features/0612_sccp_trd_toyota_tacoma_x_runner/index.html
