I want to get a new gaming system but I don't know whether I should get a PS3 or should I get a Wii.  I'll probably end up getting both eventually but which should I get first?

The PS3's graphics cant be beat, but the Wii is definately my pick.  Wii is way too much fun, its a party system - me and my friends play when we stumble home.  girls love playing it too.  i dont really see PS3 drawing a crowd at a party.

BUT,
when Gran Turismo 5 comes out, things will change in my book.  maybe I can afford one by then considering it costs like over 2 Wiis

PS3 is what I would go with. As far as I know, PS3 is ahead of the WII. At first, it seemed like the WII was drawing all the attention. But now, PS3 is calling everyone's names.

The Wii has alot more sales at this point, and this is due to Sony's 2 main problems with the PS3s:

1) PS3 catches fire when on more than 4 hours. Appearently it's a malfunction with the power supply.

2) $600 price tag. Most people don't realize a Blu-Ray player costs well over $1000, so with a PS3 you are getting your money's worth, but people are thinking $600 for a system is too much.

I was surprised first at the wii but then i changed my opinion,
THE CONTROLS ARE TOO HARD for some cases!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(at least that is what i think)
But it is still a good pick,
I am not criticizing the wii here...
You might wanna consider a Xbox 360

I thought about a 360 and its tempting but I work the returns counter at a Best Buy and those things break a lot.
