Look man, I know you like your cavalier like its your favorite baseball team, but anyone who doesnt have an owners eye for one, think they are pissant economy car, and a horrible tuning platform at that.

How is that any different than someone going on about a MR2 all the time? Different people have different tastes.

i drive a 1995 Mercury Cougar-XR7 its got a 4.6L V8 and rumble's loudly, and i agree, i think its childish to dismiss a car because its made in america. most of you have probably never driven one. i joined this forum with the mindset that we all like engines. doesnt matter too much who make's them. in all honesty your honda's arent import's. their made right here in america by american's. honda wouldnt make money if every car they made had to be shipped in a boat. now lets make this intresting.... tell us the car you drive and the HP/tourque it has. i got 200 hp 265 torque

Easy...One car was built just for what this forum is about, import tuning, another car was built to get you from Point A to Point B as cheaply as possible.
One car can be made to make 400hp with a small 2.0l motor with just mere bolt ons to a stock long block, the other car needs an entire engine rebuild and lots of aftermarket accessories added to it just to come even close to those kinds of numbers (except for the 2.0 SUpercharged ecotec motor in Chevy Cobalts, if you can count that as a newer "Cavalier")
One car handles and brakes like a Ferrari from the factory, the other one does not.

I drive a 1995 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo. It's Targa top and all...full roll cage 200 shot of spray. Lots of bolt-ons, and completely forged internals. It's beast.
