Here are some pictures of my clean 4G63’s engine bay of a 2005 EVO MR. My list of modifications to my ride is not in the dozens like some of the other members on the board but my list is the following:
*AEM short ram air intake *JDM BOV (the difference between the USDM and the JDM BOV is the one is made out of plastic and the other is made from aluminum)
Future plans:
*Engine grounding (I am going to make my own)
I really do not expect any more than that for a long time because funds are tight so only time will tell.

Your list is short because not much is needed.
I love a clean engine bay. Nice stuff.

Thanks! The reason why I have the JDM BOV is because a friend of mine broke the hose outlet on the plastic USDM BOV. It made me mad, and I would have still used it. The JDM BOV was the most economical BOV to buy, it arrived 2nd day air by UPS.

May I inquire as to the size and price of said BOV?

Sure, The BOV is the same size as the USDM unit and I think its about tall as a 12 oz can of soda pop. The JDM BOV was around $120.

Thx, I wanna go F/I (working that way, and yes, I know it's a stupid waste of money, but it's my money (that's not actually directed @ you cj, but others who may read this)) and I'm just keeping my eyes open for the different parts/ pieces I'm gonna need and kinda takin' notes along the way.

I don't bash people for upgrading their rides in any form. I am too old for that. Married life is fine and btw, I told my wife before I got married that the EVO stays unless I get an Subaru Outback with the H6. That is a bad boy. So anyways, yeah I love being married. I feel have no more guilt about living together any more.

I don't know anyone who has done that to a rio... I bet it'd make a great sleeper! I was going to swap an MR2/Celica Turbo motor (3sgte but my tranny died before I had enough money to do the swap and auto to standard conversion. Do your F/I and don't take crap from anyone.

Actually, the person I expected jabs from has already apologized. I'm gonna do it, I just didn't expect such a positive response. *snif, snif* I love you guys....

Who is anyone to say that boosting a car... ANY car isn't worth it.
If the car makes you happy then it's worth it.
And as long as it isn't a Honda Civic I'll support anyone who wants to make their car go fast!
