i'd go with an Mk 4 R32. it's a very quick car. AWD and handles like no other. i currently have a Mk5 Gti. the handling is amazing and you would have cash left over even if you purchase new one. it's also VERY tunable. head over to a VW dealership and check it out.

"i would get a GT-R (prob R32, the lightest of the GT-Rs) i could find a way to have one for under that amount" i agree to this and i dont think any car can beat it for the price many have been listed and if you analyze the specs the r32 merks out all.i personally listed the nsx 1991 supercharged but i think the r32 could take it in the end.

well you CAN'T get a Z06 for under 35, at least one thats worth it. the evo isn't that good of a choice either, they've always been on the losing side of the evo-sti battle. r32 is probably the best choice because you can get one for about 15g's and get it to about 450hp for a couple grand, at most.

GODZILLAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!! R32. hands down. huge aftermarket, powerful, and a rarity here in canada [because of the winter, and JDMs have to be at least 15 years old to import to canada. damn import laws...] and a real head-turner no matter where you are.
also, in my mind, it's debatably the MOST intimidating import currently available**[aside those beautiful R35s...but who's got an extra 80k lying around. lol]
**In Ontario. lol
