...There is no doubt that your mpg will go up...
I recently replied to a post about this subject. I won't go into great detail again. I think it's in the technical section...
Short and sweet...adding a turbocharger DECREASES fuel mileage. The example described above, claiming the increase is MPG is most likely accurate, but, as stated, the different tuning tables are the changing factor, not the turbocharger itself.

You are correct, I took the time to tune the car for economy, mild street tune, aggressive street tune, 50/50 91 octane and C16, and 100% C16 fuel. For the record, I don't get anywhere near 300 whp on my economy tune...probably closer to ~225 or so (based on the ever so accurate [censored] dyno)

V8's? Time over? I doubt it, in case you didn't notice the muscle car is coming back Charger, Magnum, SRT8 jeep, GTO, GM is bringing back the Camaro in a couple of years, along with Dodge bring back the Challenger. Waste of gas, your crazy, I've got a V8 that gets 26 miles to the gallon and will smoke probably 98% of all the cars on this forum.
Noob/troll, STFU or tell us what you drive. I do not think your truck can do the same things my SR20DET powered 240sx can do.
Truck? Who said I had that? You wanna roll rice boy? We can take it up on the track! I drive an 01 ws6, and it sure as hell insn't stock. You wanna take it up on pinks ricer?
If thats what you need to race RWD turbocharged 4 cyl sure but I call the shot since you are asking. You come to Kansas and he can do a all out "time attack" around speed cones but I know you are bulls_hittin' about the WS6. I do not think you have one. By the way, you late model T/A was built in Canada-not even by Americans and half the parts come from Mexico. That is so sad-given its fast but it's nothing but a straight line performer who needs to upgrade to compete against a 4 cyl 2.0lt engine. So what modifications do you have? Did you do all of your modifications? What type of exhuast do you have? Who makes your aftermarket cams shafts? Do you do your own tuning? What sort of tires are you running? Do you use synthetic or partial synthetic oil? Did you fund your own ride?
I don't thnk its what I'll need to race you, more like what you need to race me. Who gives a *** were it was built? Was arguing that? The car has the LS6 conversion kit, which includes cam, intake, and a few other mods,TB bypass, ported and polished MAF, ram air mods, and Loudmouth II exhaust, and the LS1 edit. As for straight line performance, if you thnk that then you need to do a little more research on the car. Don't believe I have it? Go to LS1.com and look for the same screen name, I've got pics there. Me and a friend do all the mods, a friend at a local race shop does the tuning, I run synthetic oil, and the tires are 275/40ZR/17's. I didn't say I'll go to Kansas. I said PINKS. And yeah, I do fund my own car, who else would?

Acually, technically since you asked for the race, he gets to decide where and when.

Hey, you came here with a V8 to compare it to smaller engines. Can you not keep up with other V8's or something? It would be honoring to your self and good sportsman ship to go after something like twin turbo Supra or a 500 whp EVO or STI. I have none of those three but what I do have is a chance to kill in a time attack going around speed cones. Its a good way to judge skill.

You can do it. I will try to get Ken Gushi and Rye Millen to do the judging.

Well, until I bought my VW Golf a little while back, I was running my MR2 as my daily. That pretty much sucked. :P
I doubt you have AC in the MR2 so that would be a reason not to drive it in the summer right? My 240sx is with AC but its all good for now.

True. I've had the AC out for a long time now. Living in NV sure is hot, and me moving back to AZ is just as bad.
