A small Toyota coupe built between 1991-99. Here's all you'll need to know about it if you must:

Enthusiast Aftermarket Because of similarities between the Paseo and the Toyota Tercel and Starlet (they are built on the same platform), the three cars have many interchangable parts. Many individuals have swapped Toyota Starlet Turbo 4efte Engines, variations of the 4age engines found in select Toyota Corollas, MR2s and other Toyota models, and other Toyota Engines.
Not sure if you red that part but I think it could help.

the best thing you should get it should be a 3s-gte from a celica gt4 or a toyota mr2 turbo, you can get power pretty easy from them and they can support even 400hp with stock internals

This won't work. The 3S-GTE is specifically set up for either AWD or RWD only. If he were to try and do this, he'd have one forward gear and five reverse ones.
