Here is what it looks like now. The engine bay looks the same as the last one up top except I added a torque dampener bar and the radiator support member is red like the exterior.

I don`t like flip up head lights. It ruins the body lines of the 180, actually almost anything with flip ups is ruined. That is just me.

Looks really nice, props to that. What you could do is like on your old scheme have that kit that keeps the lights half open that carries the line across the hood to the front of your car. It's really JDM, all in all I think you did better with the new changes.

It is an original redtop sr20det for the car. There is a guy in mainland Japan that does valve cover paint for 5,000 Yen (currently $42) and you have to send him your original back in a week. So I had him paint it R34 Bayside Metallic Blue.

oh, so i was right, about the dumbass part. another question, i know the red tops have a worse turbo than the others, but do they have they same internal quality as the black tops, or not.

I had replied to you before but someone deleted my replies.
There are small differences within the engines. The blacktop have EVCS(Nissan`s VTEC) on the intake cam. Which works good until roughly 400hp and then it just works when it wants to. The way to counter act this is disconnect the sensor and change the intake cam pully to a red top pully. The pistons are supposed to have better oil cooling channels in them or something of that nature. Not to mention the valve cover for the black top and red top engines are different due to the EVCS.

For one I have been in Japan for 4 going on 5 years, and have been into cars since I got here. I had a R32 GTS-T Skyline Type M that I beat on and learned off of it. Once I realized the Type M engine coulnd`t get me where I wanted to be I had 3 choices. Buy a GTR, do a RB26 swap, or buy something with a SR in it. R32 GTR`s still go for 11,000 or so right now and to do a swap would cost about half that. Well since the Skyline was a daily driver I needed it all the time cause you can only have one car over here. So I sold it and got my 180 for $4,000. When I got it all it had was 17 inch mesh rims with JIC suspension (blown), and RSR car back exhaust. So I read up on everything and became good friends with the owner of F-Zero racing (he can speak a little english), and Techno Sports (my tuner, and brother-in-laws best friend in high schoo). I would sit around with them when they were not busy and talk about cars in every way. The differences in the SR, tunning ability for stock, best set ups, and so forth. It took me 1 year to get all the performance parts in the engine bay on, and 6 months more to get the exterior parts, paint them and put them on. I have always been in to cars, but now that I am in Japan where a big part of life here is cars, it just made it that much worse. Once I get back to the states I am converting a 240 into my current car and going to UTI to get ASE certification. I am thinking about getting a full Vertex Ridge kit for my car in the states as well.
Here is my friend Junji the owner of F-Zero Racing`s S15 Silvia with the Vertex Ridge kit on it and GT3037S turbo kit. I have a better picture of it on my work computer, I will post it up tomorrow.

This is my friends website from here on island. These were all the guys I went to the track with. We are waiting on getting some good pics of my car since it is the drag queen of the site. He is currently updating the web pages so just be patient with it.

The older R32 Type M GTS-T`s can be bought for 2-3,000, R33`s run about 4-6,000, and R34 GT-T`s run about 15,000. GTR- R32 runs about 10,000 for an okay one, R33 about 18,000, and R34 about 35,000 plus. I a nut shell I had bought an older R32 skyline, tuned it a little and learned off the car. I couldn`t get enough power out of it that I wanted to reach. I didn`t want to pay to drop a GTR`s motor into it so I bought a 180sx with a SR20 engine in it b/c it is newer than my Skyline`s RB20 engine and is cheaper to tune.
Here is the other picture of my friends ride out at the track for drifting.
