oh, sorry, man, I missed your post...well I don't completly understand it myself (was actually hopeing one of the other guys would chime in on it)but it seems to me that it's more work than it's worth. You won't make any more boost with two turbos, than one larger turbo. twin turbo would be better for engines with two cylinder banks. but, anyway, I'm just going on things that I've heard and not from personal experience

Ok ... Lets just get this outta the way...I'm poor and a disabled vet. Now to the good stuff... I just bought a 1999 Eclipse gs. This car is hot lowered and some kind of loud assed exhaust and cone shaped air filter but as for the rest of It ...I'm not a car person. The speedo registers 170 not that I ever need to go that fast or blow up my car... but other than stickers how can I go faster and not spend alot of money...I'm not trying to race I just want a solid car I can be proud of...I don't need a turbo and I'm not trying to pop wheelies ala vin deseil. lil help

get rid of the 420a and replace it with a 4g63t. that is your only option, save buyin another car

I had a 90' Talon Tsi AWD, then sold it when I got my 1994 VR-4
1994 3000gt VR-4
Engine is stock, with only a 2.4" down, 3" back exhaust for performance mods
the body looked fine when I bought it 3 years ago, but under the pain it's pretty bad. It's currently in the shop getting repaired and repainted. I have the 96' hoop wing on it, and the GTO center taillight, but otherwise pretty much stock. I plan to redo the suspension and upgrade the turbos eventually, but I have a lot of other small things to do to it.
one question: they made an AWD version of the Laser? When i was shopping around for my talon I wanted a Laser, but realized they were never made with the AWD package (or so I thought).
