I'm going to be saving up some money for a new car (cause my brother messed up my old one, and its not worth fixing)and I'm kinda still deciding what I wanna get. It's between the newest gen Mirage and a 96-00 civic hatch. I know performance wise the Civic is better, but I have heard of people swapping 4G63's into their Mirages. I also know the Mirage cost less than the Civic, but it would probably even out w/ a swap. What would you recommend?  

The Mirage with a 4G63 sounds like a good deal if you want some instant power.  

The Mirage with even just the 4G93 it comes with is enough to beat that civic. I've beaten countless with mine and all I have is an intake. Stock exhaust system. I want to turn mine into an Evo V which I know so do like thousands of other people. But I recommend the Mirage of course. The car is REAL easy to work on too. Everything is just right there in your face. And you would stand out as well from all those civics.
