Honestly? Who cares?!?!? There are much more important things to consider than whether domestic owners should be allowed to post here or not.

I am quite fond of both, so should I only be able to talk about imports? No. And so you know, not all domestic owners are disrespectful of imports. Many are quite cool with it and see import tuners (not ricers) as brothers in tuning.

Tuning is about cars, be they import or domestic. End of story.

that pretty much sums it up. personally i like both...hearing the roar of a ford gt cant be compared to anything....and i cant really find a comparison for an import, most likely seeing a nissan skyline gtr would make my heart jump a few beats, but i like both equally, so yeah lol.

As for me, hell yeah all are welcomed (just not posers). I love it all, because in the end we all have the same goals and ideas in mind. We focus on what matters most, tuning to get the best out of our rides.

Tell me, what do you have against domestic drivers? Can you blame them really? I feel, though I drive an "import", I am in the same boat as them. Hell, I AM a domestic driver, I've driven mostly domestic cars forever, as has my family. I consider myself a die-hard GM fanatic, though as of late I've been disapointed.

Look at it this way. Domestics, for the most part, are fast. Even four cylinder domestics, like Omnis, Daytonas, SRT-4s and Mustang SVOs haul serious ass. They, for the most part are true enthusiasts. They want to go fast, and they want to do it cheap. Some of them, care for aestetics only to an extent, while going fast is their main concern. They look around, and see a sea of idiots, driving econoboxes that run 16s, lit up with enough lights to make a Christmas tree look dull, scraping unpainted body kits, and not to mention, most 4 cylinders sound like annoying garbage. It's an epidemic of loosers who truly think they have a race car when they put a header on their D series Civic. Can you blame them?

Now, I'm not saying that there arent idiot domestic guys too. I'm just saying for the most part, Domestic cars are fast, so they have room to talk smack. My Eagle Talon TSi AWD gets props and respect from domestic guys, because "our" cars can hang with them, and we arent a bunch of babbling idiots talking about JDM-This and body kit-that. They show respect, and so do we. Thats how it should be.

So understand, they have the upper hand. Instead of being a tool, mabey read up on some domestic stuff, youll understand what I'm saying. Learn to be a true car enthusiast, and while being brand loyal is good, don't be an idiot. Give respect to those who have the knowlege and skill to go fast for cheap, and pay attention to them, you may learn a thing or two.

I have some news for you.  If "domestic" means "made in America" then American auto companies do not make true domestic vehicles anymore.  I see that bashing happens out of animosity and ignorance towards a foriegn made vehicles even though a newer Honda Civic is more domestic than a Pontiac Trans Am.  Foriegn and domestic vehicles have the same concept of operation: wheels, transportation, economy for some, engine/tranny.  What I am saying is that I think that all vehicles are virtually the same.  What matters is how well a vehicle performs for the needs of the driver and if the production of the car helped employ Americans.

This is true CJ. The car industry is a global one, and unlike in the 50s, your "American" car was probably built in Canada, with Japanese electronics, and the drivetrain made in Mexico. It's funny when I hear some domestic guys call my car an "import" because it has a Mitsubishi engine, but it was made by American hands in Normal, IL. While their Z28 was made in Canada....hmmmmm

That is pretty funny. It all pretty much comes down to knowledge right? I agree with CJ. Cars are cars, they have one purpose behind them, to work for the needs and desires of the driver.
