i have about 10 k to spend on a car. any good sugestions for a car i can tune on a low budjet but still have something that will be able to win a few street races .

You will not find a cheap RB26DETT. Hell, odds are it wouldn't fit into whatever you had planned without spending most of that wad you've got.

Additionally, since it's not legal in this country due to smog restrictions, you'll have a hard time finding any parts if it breaks. There are better engines to be had than the Skyline plant.  

if you know the right people you can get it for a couple of grand and he can drop it in an old datson so smog laws wont apply
