If i had to choose between the 2 cars listed i would have to say go with the integra GSR. Its easily modified, lighter, and better handling stock to stock. Go with the integra.

Other cars that are posibilities would be determined by how much money you have, what kind of taste you have, and what kind of speed your lookin for whether it be all honda and nothing else or anything that goes for the money$ you pay. Then your future car could be determined a little easier.

Personally, I'd take the Prelude. Sure, it's not as easily modded or what not, but it's a great car and performs well right out of the box. And besides, you don't need a dumbass body kit. If you feel as though that's necessary, you can buy one later. Worry about performance FIRST.

Very true. I could care less for body kits and all that but I think the integra is faster. If anyone knows which is the quicker car post here. Both are sweet cars in the end and with money u could make any car fast.

Take the Integra if you want to have a whole lot of customization possibilities. Don't forget, though, most Integra's get stolen or whatnot.

two things for me. the first is that i don't really like 4 cylinder cars. . . i like 6 cyl cars. the second thing is that i really don't like body kits and airdams and such and HATE spoilers. they are a waste of money and totally unnecessary. unless of course you happen to be driving well over 120 mph all the time! in that case go for body mods!
but if you happen to like body kits then by all means get the gsr.

Both cars are good choices I think. Personally, I'd probably go with the lude. As stated before, they perform pretty well right off the lot. I own a 97 prelude DOHC Vtec, and with the exception of the chrome rims that some dumbass put on there before I bought it, and of course the new cd player i have in it, it's all stock. It all depends on what u're looking for, and what you want to do with the car. I'm one that likes the bodykit look. I guess I like the idea of taking a car and making it look diffrent than it already is. Especially if you can give it a clean look and still fool someone on what kind of car it is.

I couldn't agree more, always sort the performance out first, that way, people will think that you haven't done much to your car, but really you have a sleeper.
my small hatchback started out as a 1.0ltr 12v, no bodykit, juts 17in rims.
Now its had 2.5 V6 engine conversion with turbo, K&N Induction kit and a magnex exhaust sytem, it still looks the same, no kit just 17in rims, its nice sleeper car, she maybe small but she can fly.

HOW do u fool sumone with a Prelude? almost all came with dohc vtec motors in the 96-01 models didnt they ? and if not it would be easier to hide a gsr behind a ls before a prelude vtec behind non vtec. Both are good cars so there should be no prolem with whatever one he gets.

Let me ask you all a question. WHY IN THE WORLD DOES EVERYONE HATE BODY KITS? Its like no one on this site likes doing anything to their car other than performance work. Don't get me wrong. I like being stuck to my seat as much as the next guy but everyone wants to remove what has grown to be a large part of the "tuner/modification" culture. I mean I may be biased because I've done graphical design for the past 5 yrs of my life, and maybe its because I'm a nuub to this whole scene too but come on. I'm not trying to turn gama green on those people that have been in the life for a while but one really doesn't take from the other. Not to mention that many people may have the same mods under their hood as you do, but you would be hard pressed to find someone who's car looks like yours when you put your own touch into it.

Bodykits are not bad if done tastefully. I've seen some really nicely kitted cars but scores more of horrible, atrocious, rolling travesties of automotive technology. I'm sure you've seen some, too.
The problem I have with most kits is this: they're not safe and just look stupid. Hardly any undergo aerodynamic testing (which should be required); thus, many of them are unsafe at speed. Secondly, people have the tendency to just slap them on- unpainted- and roll around like they're "big pimpin'" or something. There's simply no excuse for an unpainted bodykit. If you want to buy one, fine... just wait to save up the money to get it painted right before affixing it to your car!
Now that I'm done venting, I'll catch my breath and let someone else take over.

Thats the biggest load of *** you could have given me. At least 2GNTEclipse gave me pertanent reasons why he thought that they were bad, "THEIR GAY", come on man what are you like 10? Alot of people think that what were doing at this forum is gay. I'll give you an example. I have an uncle that has been blessed to be financially well off. So he can buy just about what ever he pleases. He finds it stupid ("gay") that I would "waste my money" on an integra or some other "lower end car" instead of saving my money and buying something like a three or a five series because the monetary equivilant is there when you factor in the labor and the parts purchased. Bottom line is: do what you think is best for you. In the end were all just guys with similar interests. We're not your financial advisor, your parents, or your bank. I hope you make the best decision for you. Cause you don't want to take some ones advise here and come to the conclusion that you wish you hadn't.
