Well, Alpine makes really good subs but Id say u should get JL Audios if u can...they arent the cheapest subs on the market but if u pay for em, u will get ur moneys worth. JL are the subs most celebs use cuz they are known for performance and thats also y tuners use em...

Since your on a budget then there are a lot of options. Sony is ok. They sound fair for the money. My top five subs that are fair in price and delivers good bass are MXT,Audiobahn,Kicker,Rockford fosgate, and Cerwin vega. There are also some really cheap subs that are decent like Pyramid,Pyle,Visonink, and lanzar. These specific subs sound better in a bandpass box rather than a sealed box. Honestly if you are looking for extremely big earth shaking bass then you might have to spend some dough but if you want good head turning bass for less then try some of the sub brands I threw at you. My favorite subs are the MTX subs.I had two older model 10 inch subs in a sealed box with matching MTX amp I now have have two pyle 10 inch subs in a band pass box with a memphis bell 800 watt amp. Remember It's all about the amp and box. A good amp and right sub housing can make any sub sound good.
