Hey here is something i have been wondering for awhile... is 2.0L honda motor basically the same as a 2.0L gm motor?  reason I am asking is I am looking for some type of turbo kit for my sunbird but only thing i can find is the 2.2 kits and that i dont have.  If they are the same could i use a turbo manifold from a sunbird and have a turbo sit on that or ????.  I am also consiering building a motor for this car and trying to get an idea of what I will need for.  If there is anyway of putting in a honda engine in it would be great <minus cpu and wiring UGH>.  any help would be great if needed email me with details.  oh and why a sunbird....its all i have and not enough to get a civic or anything ATM. The only way to get a Hinda plant into that car is to have an enormously fat wallet. Anything can be done with enough bread, and this is no exception. So you know, it would take more than just the motor to do this swap right... much more. I'd suggest you do some research on the 'net or just forget it altogether.

You know, you probably could run a supercharger on it instead of a turbo. Much easier to install and generally little to no tuning required. Not to mention the fact that power would be right where you want it- in the midrange.  

True I realize that there is wiring, computer changes,  more then likely custom fab motor mounts, and LOTS of cussing   didnt even think about a super charger though might have to look up info on one.  But I still wonder if the 2.0L's are the same <ie bore stroke> if so then <in theory anyways> it should work off the same cpu but still need the wire harness and custom mounts.  if someone knows a page with spec's it would help alot.  

Trust me when I say that it's not worth the time or expense even if the motors are the same internally.  

I believe they made a turbo Sunbird. Look into swaping the Quad 4 engine, it's a good motor. Or even the 3.1 V6.  

actually the turbo and the 2.0 are one in the same just better  pistins and a turbo <a T25 I think>.  I was wondering about a cold air intake though and maybe an intercooler.....going from muscle car to tuner is a bit harder then i thought
