It's been SPECULATED that it's coming to the US in 2007. And the motor has more or less been decided. It's a V8 that's twin turbocharged and puts out 450HP. It WILL look very close to the G35 and WILL be an Infiniti. The price is going to be ~$70k USD. That alone will make it an Infiniti. When the last time you remember a Nissan costing that much?

Do a little more research next time. There's a lot out there.

It's a Nissan THERE, in JAPAN. It won't be when it gets here. That's already been made clear by Nissan.

Yes, Skyline is a good car.. but i would prefer the Supra.

And i dont know if u know this, but Toyota is returning the Supra to USA market! Good news indeed.

The target release date is 2007, edmunds.com says -
Toyota's new sportscar should have plenty of performance thanks to a high powered V6 that will produce at least 300 horsepower. Expect to see its debut at the Tokyo Motor show in October, with sales starting sometime next year.

We already know the Skyline will be a heavily modified Infinity G35, and will be sold in USA as "Infinity GT-R".
Its make its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 2007 and will go on sale later that year.

Also anticipating, 2007 BMW M3, Lexus LF-A and 2006 Audi RS4.

There's no assurances that the Supra will return. And if it does, it'll be badged as a Lexus. Toyota is going to used their re-designed Supra as a competitor to the likes of Porsche, Ferrari, and Lamborghini. The price will be around $120k USD. And it will be powered by a V-10 producing somewhere in the neighborhood of 500HP.

So.... get those ideas of owning one out of your head now.

no, i might win the lottery, or a rich uncle might die, or maybe i'll rob fort knox.  either way, i might come into the money(of course if any of that happened i might as well import one of the 03's i saw on a site, and a gtr while i at it.)

More specifically, Lexus told us LF-A will have a 5 liter (with minimum of)500hp V-10 and close to 200 mph top speed. The top competitors to LF-A are Porsche Carrera GT, Mercedes SLR McLaren, Ferrari F430, Ford GT-40, Aston Martin, exc..

And Edmunds.com, a very credible source, says Supra will be badged as a Toyota, not Lexus.
A lot of companies are doing that, for instance..
Touareg was badged as a VW not Audi, and it had huge succsess.
Phaeton was badged as a VW too, but it doesnt have as much appeal.

That's fine and all, but Toyota isn't necessarily in the sport compact or sportscar mindset anymore. That's why they killed off the Celica and MR2 Spyder. They weren't selling at their low price point, so what makes you think they'll sell a sportscar worthy of the Supra name for under $50k? They won't. That's the bottom line.
