Alright, first of all, im really new to all of this. (forums included).... I have just recently purchased a 97 Nissan Maxima GXE with the intent of completely remodeling it inside and out. Alas, I have no idea what im doing. I've done a little research and have found www.custommaxima.com they have many part to modify my car and [censored] like that. I really have no idea about where to start. im hoping to make this car a show car eventually... i want to rebuild the engine and hook it up.. and as for the interior.. its gonna be completely different.. but i have no idea where to go and who to talk to.. if you have any advice whatsoever! please offer it! Thanks Guys... Hopefully i know what im doing, im going to try to put some pics of my car.

first off right off the bat you got a alot to learn considering you just got into this hobby, but onto your car, out on the market comparing to others car 350z's,rx-7's, there is'nt much out there for you but I'm sure if you searched high and low for the parts you want u may find it. But considering I'm not a maxima guy you might chat to 2GNTeclipse on some heip but he'll come up to u before u could even get to him. so just wait. check out these sites u might get what u want which almost every tuner on earth should know about. 1.www.hksusa.com 2.www.extremedimensions.com 3.www.greddy.com. but I have not checked if these sites have parts for your 97 maxima. if not I'm sorry for the trouble.

They have all sorts of performance upgrades for ur car. I checked it out trust me they do.

dont worry dude, were on the same boat. trying to "pimp" family-ish cars. i have a 2000 toyota corolla. nothing is imposible, go for the engine 1st, cold air, exaust system, headers, crap like that.

dude, one word, JEGS go there they have literally everything. body kitsk, engine components, nitrous kits you can order all of them right from the site

I'm not sure if jegs has bodykits you should prolly look at andysautosports.com for any exterior stuff
