My dad said I could buy a used car. Now the question is, what should I buy? Any car would do (preferably not an Acura Integra or Honda Civic), but I really don't want an old car, like a Honda Prelude or Nissan 240SX. It has to be in good condition and be under 10K. I don't care about what type of car it is (i.e. FWD, RWD...). It's just going to be a regular street car, and not be used for drag racing or drifting. For aftermarket tuning, I prefer if it was easily tuneable. I was thinking of getting a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-X, but I heard Mitsubishi doesn't do too well with it's motors. I think I forgot to mention some things, but I'll add them later if I think of them.

It all really depends on what kind of budget you're on if it's unlimited then there are unlimited possiblities so for any help we are going to need some kind of price range. If you are looking for something around 10k it's going to have to be pretty high.

Don't worry about the price range. I'll manage. Just money from a job I have.

I find the following site to be very informative and resourceful if you're looking for car specs. (basics)
http://www.rsportscars.com/eng/
Mind you those are a wee bit expensive for most new-car buyers...but give it a shot, maybe there's a link on there that will lead you to cheaper ones.
