Fine by me. Care to start?

And I'm not saying you can't talk about the models in the mags. I just don't happen to know any of them since I don't really read IT.

Here is the first couple images of the next generation Impreza.

Front - http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid175/pb2bc9adc21d440e74201b143cd94208a/f3789f93.jpg

As you can see the pics show a drastically different design approach, one which is probably motivated by Subaru's new designer, Andreas Zapatinas of ex-Alfa Romeo fame.

One particular area of interest is the front end. It features a controversial three part grill, a design we first saw on the 2003 Subaru B11S Concept.

Whether or not the new face and hood-top character lines gel with the rest of the car remains for the viewer to decide.

In either case, Subaru have really upped the ante against the very evolutionary Mitsubishi Lancer IX.

Beyond aesthetics, not much is known about the engineering changes to the Impreza. It will no doubt feature the horizontally opposed 4-cylinder turbo engine and all wheel drive system that have made the car so legendary.

i think the full Spec for the New Impreza will be released in the last quarter of 2005.

The specs I saw from another site say that it uses the EJ20. I'd be surprised if they went back to the 2.0 from the mighty 2.5 we get here.

There are specs for the new car on the SCC website. I'll get a link for you. However, all of them are Euro specs, so we'd need to convert the numbers and what not.

Here are the specs from the SCC board:

Again, I doubt that Subaru would switch back to the 2.0L from the 2.5L for the USDM. It owuldn't make any sense.

what does everyone think of the new eclips? i think its kinda hot but looks like a TT in the roundness. Are there rumors that the RSX will be re-done?  I saw a ruff design(drawing) on one web site,it had     sharper lines, more like the tsx look, im still stickin with my 05 rsx-s

The new Eclipse looks hideous from the front if seen in person. The back looks okay, but the nose just kills it.

As for the RSX, I have yet to hear of anything new. I give the current model another year or two before there's a re-design.

I agree. I've seen the new eclipse up close and personally, I give the front end a thumbs down lol. However, I do give Mitsubishi credit for trying to be inventive and different. We can just wait for the body kits to come out and maybe do some justice to its looks.

RSX? I wouldn't mind finding out about that.

A new front bumper should be a standard option!
