Ladies and gentleman, I'm brand-new to this board, but
have been a "motor-head" for decades. I've been going
to short-track, road course, and super-speedway races
for years.  And for the past 4, I've been a crew member
for the fastest paved short-trackers on the planet:
SUPER-MODIFIEDS.  I also have raced Speedway motorcycles
and still enjoy watching them, too.  But, I've noticed
that in the crowds at the tracks, there are not as many
"Gen X'ers" as I'm sure the promoters would like, and
short-track racing needs to grow the sport.  So, let me
ask you all, "What Will It Take For You To Visit Your
Local Paved or Dirt Oval on a Saturday Night"?  I
understand not wanting to watch a bunch of domestic-
powered stock-bodied or open-wheel cars, but what if
they raced high-tech/high-dollar imports as seen in
this magazine, except modified for oval-track racing?
(Not the usual crappy "mini-stock" type support class.)
Or, would you support sprint cars and super-modifieds
if they had NISSAN and TOYOTA V-8 engines, as opposed
to those from "The Big 3"?  The problem with racers
is they can't see the big picture and have no clue
what the public wants.  The "NASCAR Dads" may go to
the big tracks on Sundays, but they and their families
are not necessarily going to the local bull-rings.
Thanks for any in-put you may have, and I shall relay
any comments you have, good or bad, to my "roundy-round"
peers.  sincerely, "Left Coast" Tim Marsh in "The O.C."

I think it'd be cool if you got in the garage with some of the mechanics and talked to some of the racers without having to have a VIP pass or security clearance...Interactity is the key to keeping just about any human being interested in watching or paying attention to ...anything...

Mazda 6 Research
Mazda 6 Car specs are often a major factor when deciding on buying a new Mazda 6. Get all of the information you could want including data on performance, cargo space, handling, fuel efficiency, and all-inclusive car specifications. The Mazda6 comes with a L4 standard engine and goes for a suggested retail price of $21,800.00. It also comes with comparable warranty coverage to other vehicles in its class. Other similar vehicles are the Toyota Prius and the Scion XB.
