The G35 is, in essence, a Skyline. However, when it comes here(and that's not known for sure at this point), it'll be it's own car. It'll also be badged as an Infiniti and not a Nissan.
As for the power question, the G35 is more powerful than the Skyline. The Skyline put out 276BHP, whereas the G35 puts down 289BHP. When the US market Skyline comes, it'll put down 450BHP and be powered by a twin turbo V6.

yea the G35 is the nissan skyline 350GT in japan and of course some people haven't found out but they do have more power than the ones here but for some reason nissan wasn't allowed to put the real amount of HP and LB TORQUE on the 350GT but last time i looked at some guy's 350GT at the port we took it to the dyno and it went 375hp to the wheels and 367lb torque to the wheels so i would defenetly get one from japan.
