hey guys, I'm really confused. I'm looking to buy a car soon for around $4000-$5000 what is the best car for me to go for? I plan on modding it somewhat.... cold air, full exhaust, chip ect. Maybe even a turbo down the road who knows. In any case, im not really loyal to any manufacturer. What car is going to have the quickest 0-100km time and the fastest quarter mile time with those mild mods i listed above? I've been on numerous websites, its seems that everyone just says there car is the fastest. I want to know the facts lol.

take a look at d.s.m. diamond star motors aka eagle talons, mitsubishi eclipse, and if you go a little older plymouth lasers. they are very capable cars and they are fast also you can get them in fwd, fwd turbo, and awd turbo and for around 5k you could get one and hook it up a little too!

If you go DSM, make sure you get the turbo models. I had a 99 Eclipse N/T and it was still pretty slow after I/H/E and a few other mods.
