A 4WD Civic? Uh, no. Unless there's an overseas model that been brought over by someone that I'm unaware of, there's no such thing. I'm not a Honda guy nor do I want to be, so I'm not absolutely certain about it.

yo im sorry to say i googled this so call car this kid said he had and hes right, they have made a 4wd civic. im tellin you i thought he was being stupid but heres the proof: http://www.cars-directory.net/specs/honda/civic_ferio/2002_10/ im not try to stick up for this guy but i had to see for myself, its a right hand drive car, which means it was imported. ***

OK so i know this post is a month old but i have to say all of you guys on here seem to not be too nice nor are you taking the time to research something before you talk *** to someone.....i have a 1991 honda civic 4wd wagon.....just so happens i was google-ing for some parts when i stumbled across this site and saw you guys bashing this kid just cuz he was unsure of what exactly he had....oh and incase you are wondering, no mine is not right hand drive nor is it imported.....just not a lot of them....hard to even find in a junk yard......and the 4wd is not meant to put a lot of power to the rear wheels....it was just more of a stability think....the 4wd system engages automatically when needed
thanks

RTi = Real Time (injected). Back in 1985 my pops bought a 4WD Honda Civic Hatchback Wagon and he handed it down to me when I got my license. I learned how to drive stick shift in that car. It was indestructible. The cool part was, in the 4WD version (as compared to the AWD version, aka Real Time) you only had to press a button on the control panel, to the left of the a/c controls, to engage/disengage the 4WD. We would banzai that thing out at Pismo Dunes and do some insane rally-style thrashing in Nipomo, CA. I remember seeing a few RTi's back in the day. They had a small emblem on the rear right portion of the hatch that said "Real Time" and on the driver/passenger doors there was a huge sticker that said Real Time or AWD or something like that. I still have some old 35mm film pics but I would have to scan it into the computer. If anyone is interested just email mantiscia@gmail.com
