$30,000 and up for a civic?! insane. I already know what a couple people on these boards are gonna say, but what doesn everyone think? does, a body kit, wheels, catback exhaust, shift knob, and a couple badges make this Honda worth $30,000 plus????
the only hond i would ever spend that much on would be an S2000. (or an NSX ![]() )
umm for 30 grand you could have an EVO or STi, 350z, basically anything faster than an Si

How much would it costs to buy an Si and the Mugen parts and do it yourself?
You couldn't fool your mother on the foolingest day of your life with an electrified fooling machine.

I've read about this civic. There only making 500, a year. But if you ready want one for an extra $4500(I believe thats the price) the dealer can put extra mods on the civic when you buy it.
Honda is doing this because the civic has become so popular and people are willing to pay. Most people think that these mods will give the car a lot more power and that they were going to pay someone to add the mods to there car at some point so why not get them from the dealer. What people need to understand is that the dealer will charge 2-5 times more then if it was bought from some place else.
It is convenance and people are becoming lazy.

I would say no, 1st off im really not crazy about it begin a 4 door for starters, 2nd the rims dont do anything for me, the kit is the only thing that is nice. so what it sayz mugen, go to ebay and by the badges, everyone does it. lol(i saw a beat up civic with a mugen badge) i agree people are getting lazy and will pay for the car to come hooked up. but then you have a civic that looks like the other guys mugen, its not personal. having a car is about making it your own,rims, body kit etc. for that amount buy the car stock and hook it up yourself, so it does not say mugen but at least its your own.

yeah i'm acttually looking at selling my '00 corolla I have now and getting an '07 base model civic. I figure buy it cheap cause I'm going to be replacing alot of it anyways. And I don't think getting an si is worth it cause I can easily get an extra 50hp into a car for under the like 6-7k price difference. and for 30k you could completely redo a base civic or if your sensible buy the sti or evo haha
