hey, i just picked up a 1993 3000gt with an auto tranni from a friend of mine as a project to work on. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get max power and torque without just throwing in a huge turbo system? I'd rather not have a turbo put in, but i'm having a lot of trouble finding websites that sell things like nice intakes for example for a non-turbo 3000gt. Any ideas??? jordan

I've been reading through these forums lately after being away for a while and they're starting to make me sick. We've got a lot of newcomers posting questions about the car they want, or the car they have - just to have someone tell them that car is not good and its a horrible platform and blahblahblah. Newsflash... they're not looking for anyones approval, they're looking for answers to their questions. the 3000gt is an excellent platform - even NA. Try www.importperformanceparts.net or www.horsepowerfreaks.com for some ideas on parts or if you really want to get detailed go to www.dsmtuners.com My personal recommendation would be to start by lightening up the car a bit, because the only true downfall of the 3000gt is the weight.
