i'm new to thisand getting my licence in 3 months I have 11,000 to mod a car. But not to much of a high end car like an audi or something cuz of insurance and ***

What car should I get? what should I do to it? and if you know where in jersey that can do it that'd be great.  

You can buy a decent isuzu amigo for like 3500 and lower it.  It's kind of like convertable and you will have the all wheel drive like an audi.  I'm building a show Geo Tracker with the same kind of idea but I don't have 11,000 to mod my ride.  I'm planning on lowering and putting some sick *** ground effects on it.  I just got a new shifter knob from autozone last night and I'm having it installed at the dealer next week.  I can't wait!  Good luck with!

well it depends on what you are looking for in a car, do you want reliability? speed? mpg? looks?

if i had the money, id probably get a truck like a Ranger or a do all the stuff i wanted to do to my Legacy, but thats just me, maybe you should look at Toyota Camrys, ive heard they can make a little power, maybe an older Subaru turbo, any turbo model, you can do some internal work and put the boost up on it, especialy if you can find a Legayc 2.5RS for around 11k, they would be an awsome deal

but i drive a Subaru, so of course im going to suggest one, give us a little more detail on what you want  

If you want to get into the tuner scene the best allround vehicle that most people drool over is probly a nissan skyline. You can pick one up for around $9000. They look amazing and are fast as hell. If you get the GTR, it comes stock with an inline-6 twin turbo engine so it's got major balls. the gts is a single turbo but still hauls good. the you can do exhaust, cold-air intake and a turbo timer and you've got one of the fastest cars around for miles!!! Others you could look for is a nissan 300zx or a nissan 240sx but it's all up to what kinda of car you prefer. I hope that helped you out a bit dude.
