Well let’s be civilized here and stop harassing.  You own a very nice machine, and I happen to really like Mustangs GT's.  I’d have one too but am stuck with what I have which is not bad.  I am not a domestic hater so let’s get that out in the open.  I am 29 years old and I am auto enthusiast.  I am too old for silly name calling games because a car from Japan has as much power as my Mustang GT.  Don't let there be any confusion, I do not own a Mustang but I think that is how some domestic car owners feel.    I have owned Dodge, Ford, Chevy, Nissan, and Mitsubishi.  I follow auto trends and I am not talking about which neon’s are or body kits or hot.  I research buying trends of the American consumer, and I make analytical calculations and such.  Maybe you did not know that GM owns 44% of Daewoo and the engine in the Equinox/Trailblazer is made in China.  It’s cool that a Mustang owner is here but don’t stir up crap.

na, dont like the fartcan. bet it sounds like crap too. I like the whole black on black thing though.

Rice-pipes.

You'd actually be surprised at how a high-end import exhaust system sounds.  I have a full 3" turbo-back HKS Hi-Power exhaust and it's pretty quiet.  I can actually listen to the stereo at respectable volume levels while driving, still being able to carry on a conversation.  Also, you could easily have a cell phone conversation in the car while driving along.  It's all in the resonators.

So, I assume your not running cats?  I know the HKS Hi-Power on an MR2 Turbo requires the cuttage of both catalytic converters.  Also, keep me updated on when you wanna start the M3 Turbo project, cousin!

I'm running cat-less, but not because the Hi-Power system requires.  The 240 system bolts to the stock cat.  I just can't use the restiction right now.

I'll be in touch with you soon on the M3 project...maybe a month or so from now.

So does that make your 240sx loud?

No, sir.  I run a glass-pack resonator (straight through type tube) in place of the cat.  Remember, a turbocharger can be considered nearly 1/3 of a muffler.  My car is fairly quiet for what it is.  The exhaust note is VERY deep and listening to the stereo at polite levels (meaning you can converse with a passenger over the radio easily) is not a problem at all.  The only time it is loud is when I'm rompin' it and the wastegate opens (open dump), and even then it's no louder than a Mustang GT with a pair of twin chamber flowmasters w/ stock cats.  In fact, the turbo sucking noises are much louder than the exhaust itself.  When I spool it up hard next to people they have this look on their faces when it hits

I think that the civic looks clean and thats all that matters. its not how much you put on your car it about making the things that you do to it look good.

I drive a 1984 Toyota Celica. It's in top condition too. I got it for only $400.00 so I feel pretty lucky.
